Hawaii

My parents took my family to Hawaii for Christmas. It was so great. It had been a long time since I'd hung out with Kevin where he wasn't stressed with school. I loved having a little time with him where we could actually hang out. I also loved having him with my family.

My entire family was able to come and so were their families. 

This is the first time ever that all four of my siblings have had a significant other with us at once. It was so perfect (being's that I'm normally the one that is the odd man out). 

My parents have been taking me to Hawaii almost every year my entire life. Some years I've gone twice. Growing up I'd go to Oahu a lot but now we mostly go to Maui, and every once in awhile go to other islands.

This year we ended up in Oahu because it's the only place we could find hotels at the last second. My parents favorite place to go is Hawaii, and even though we were in Oahu I loved having Kevin there with me.

We made a stop at the North Shore and the Dole Pineapple Plantation.

There are always the pretties sunsets in Hawaii. I loved walking along the beach a night when it finally wasn't crowded. It was a lot of fun.

The Coolest Bark

We rented bikes one of the days and took a ride around the volcano. Josh, Kathryn, Jen, Kevin and I went on the bike ride. I thought it was super fun, but we had a few whiny people with us that apparently hate exercising. 

The last day we went to the Polynesian Cultural Center. We rarely go to Waikiki beach any more but it was the only place we could find hotels for that many of us. We decided that we would get as many of the toursites out of the way because Kevin and Kathryn hadn't seen them. That way wouldn't have to go again for a long time. We had a lot of fun though.
