I'm Tying the Knot

I'm engaged!

It obviously happened awhile ago, and is not that big of a surprise. Kevin and I told everyone we were getting married last November, but officially got engaged in February because we were waiting for my ring.

It seems like we've already been engaged forever, but it did feel great to have it official finally. I was tired of explaining I was engaged but not engaged.

I can't wait to marry Kevin, and it is now about 3 months away which seems crazy. We started out with our date being almost a year away, and FINALLY its just around the corner.

I wanted a ring that was unique but still super simple. This isn't the best picture of my ring, but you get the idea. It is a princess cut diamond that is low set on a thin band. Its a gold band with a black finish. That took a few months of digging into  to figure out how to do it right, but I love the result.

We are getting married July 12, 2013 at The Oquirrh Mountain Temple and our reception will be at Loghaven that evening up Millcreek Canyon.

Kevin takes his medical boards earlier that week, so I might have a zombie husband. Either way, our wedding will be beautiful and our South East Asian honeymoon will be even more beautiful. I can't wait!
