Tokyo

We also made a little stop in Tokyo on the way home.

As you can see we spent one of those days in Tokyo Disneyland. Your probably wondering why we would do such a thing when we were all the way in Tokyo. Yet, I saw one or two other sets of westerners all day, and mostly hung with my teenage Asian friends.

Tokyo Disneyland is one of the hippest places we went to while we were there. Our Disneyland is full of families and younger kids. Not in Tokyo. Everyone here is from about 15-30 years old, Asian, and either with their girlfriend/boyfriend or best friends. It was packed. Never seen a Disneyland so full. Everyone also would wear matching Mickey or Minnie ears with their entire group.

In the U.S. Disney Princesses and other Disney characters are cool. Not in Tokyo. They just stick to the basics of Mickey, Minnie, and Donald. When they wanted to get really original you'd see some Monsters Inc.

Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge. This bridge is supposedly the most photographed thing in Japan. Lovely, but need to do a little research on it.

I'm pretty sure most of our time was spent on Tokyo subways getting from place to place. We tried to visit all the main districts in Tokyo, meaning many subway stations as well.

Great shopping district. You can find anything you need or don't need.

There were lots of enjoyable parts of the city to visit. This one is the hip section, where all the cool kids would hang. So of course we spent some time here.

Tokyo deserves an A+. I would definitely recommend it if you are a city goer.
