Costa Rica Y Panama

I'm the worst blogger ever.

It's time.
Mostly because I finally added all my photos to my computer, and realized I've been a lot of places lately.

So we are going to do a quick recap on my summer thus far.

It all started with Costa Rica.
I went with Brynn, McCall, Emilee, and Sam.
I ended with Brynn and I.

Here are a few photos because most of them Brynn still has.

This is McCall crossing into Panama from Costa Rica. On the way back we got about a mile from the boarder in the middle of no where and had to get off the bus and wait for our friend who missed it.

Idiot.

We started our trip by heading straight down to Panama. Had a nice really long drive, and ended in Bocas Del Toro, then more specifically we stayed at Bocas Bound on Red Frog Beach. It was just like an adult summer camp.

We had to walk through the jungle everyday to get to the beach.

Then we headed back into Costa Rica, spent a few days in Playa Hermosa at Rancho Grande's while eating the best fish ever, then headed up to Montezuma for a few days.

We decided that it made sense to stay in the hottest muggiest creepiest hotel we could find in Montezuma.

Brynn and I had been having a lovely week with everyone, but decided to move on while everyone else stayed behind. So we said our goodbyes, and we headed over to Santa Teresa and Mal Pais.

We stayed at our favorite hostel Tranquilo Backpackers.

The entire time we were in Santa Teresa it was a rain storm. The power kept going out at night so we would have to put candles out everywhere. Two of the nights we had a nice candle lit dinner with everyone from the hostel. It actually made it really fun.

One of my favorite parts about this hostel is that it becomes a little community. Everyone will go do everything together, and we will cook meals with everyone.

We spent our last week in Santa Teresa, and then headed back home. The night before we were leaving ended up being one of the worst rainstorms yet and washed out one of the bridges, and created a ton of landslides. The buses weren't able to run so we ended up finding a lot of nice people that we hitched rides with and made it all the way back to our hotel in San Jose, with out having too many major incidents.
