Hawaiian Friends

Not only was I with my lovely family in Hawaii, but also with some great friends.
The day we were leaving Sean Tucker decided he wanted to come, and who could say no to this.

Sean and I have spent a lot of time together over the years on trips and I always know it will be more entertaining with him there. So thanks Sean.

There were so many of us that it would take way to long to get moving in the morning. It was the first vacation in my life I could exercise and have plenty of time to hang out all before breakfast.

I was able to run then still go around with Sean and see all the cool little animals the hotel had every morning.

The hotel had flamingo's and we spent a lot of time walking through their little garden and trying to play with them. We loved them as you can see.

Sean loved the birds, and I mean loved. Everytime you didn't know where he was it was pretty easy to assume he was playing with this bird.

By the end he would rub his finger against the cage and the bird would recognize him and come over so he could pet it. It wouldn't do it for me.

Then the last few days Cameron Cox joined us and we got to have even more fun.

Cam and I tried surfing one of the days. I've always wanted to try surfing on large waves with a little board. Unfortunately I'm not very good and there was way to much time between waves. So the few tries in the few hours weren't super successful. My balance isn't everything I've dreamed of.

We took a nice drive on the road to Hana one day. We drove in a loop around the island instead of driving up and back the same way. It was a good decision. The road was real weird and bumby.

I loved this meadow. I thought it was magical. It was so windy but made the grasses look real nice.

There were some really awesome trees, and great big spider webs.

I had some great models to work with.

We had a real nice time.

  1. You are such an amazing photographer! I love how you capture your trips so creatively, making sure to get the little details as well as the whole scene. Also, looks like such a fun trip with the family!
