Sweden

We were also able to go to Sweden for my parents 40th anniversary trip. They let us eat a fancy dinner with them for the big night, as well as stay in a fancy room in the hotel. We are the luckiest.

When we got to Sweden we were starving and walked around at night for awhile trying to find a restaurant. Apparently only bars are open late and it turned out to be quite difficult to find some food.

One of the problems with blogging months and months later is that you don't remember things well. That being said, I don't remember what we did in Sweden.

We did take a bus tour while we were there, as well as, walked through old town Sweden. That was my favorite part from what I can remember. Walking through all of the tiny little alleyways.

One of the really amazing parts of the trip was traveling from Sweden to Denmark. We were on the Eurorail the entire time, and part of the trek between the two countries is over water. The train drives on to a large boat and stops. You then are free to get off the train and walk around the large ferry while the boat takes the train across. Then you get back on the train and off it goes into Denmark. Pretty Crazy!

Sweden has nothing on Norway. The only part that topped Norway was the slightly cheaper prizes.
