Yep, I'm still posting about Summer

I had a really great summer full of camping, hiking, traveling, and everything else that you wish you normally had time for. It was Kevin's last summer off, ever, and so I took more advantage of it than I should have and went and did a lot of activities. Here are a few fun things I was able to do.

I love caves and dark places and yet I'd never been to the Timpanogas Caves. We took a little day trip with Katie, Quinn, and Kevin to see them. I loved it! I love caves and crystals and bizarre rocks. As a child I wanted to be a geologist and loved looking and collecting cool rocks. My grandpa had a room in his house for polishing and cleaning up rocks. I loved going over there with him and cracking open a cool rock and making it look pretty. I've also read a lot of caving books and sort of wish I was a speleologist  Anywho, I'm glad that I finally went to Timpanogas since I live so close. I do this with so many things. I look for these amazing places around the world and skip some that are right in my backyard.

I also went on our annual trip to Uintah's with my Provo friends and Willi and Landon both joined us for a night. It always a treat for me to integrate friendships.

These two peeps are getting married in March, and apparently I had pre-marriage photo shoot last summer cause there's a lot more photo's of them on this hike.

Kevin and I weren't doing as well with photo's apparently. Ours are mostly of him teasing me.

Josh and I were looking for a new hike last summer and drove up big cottonwood canyon until we saw a valley that looked cool. We stopped at this valley and it turned out to be the loveliest nicest hike! It had huge trees, no people, and nice meadows. It was perfect and now one of my favorite spots.

I obviously can't go a year with out going to Lake Powell so I had a few trips over the summer. It was amazing like usual, and we had Stain entertaining us with really impressive tricks.

Even though I was gone a lot I got to spend a fair amount of time enjoying my roommates, my scooter, and my cute little house. All of which I love.

Also, we road with all of us from Whole Foods to my house. I though I was funny picking up Willi and Alaina on my scooter because they needed a ride, but really the joke was on me because Carlie was with them too. Yikes.

Even though I did have a great summer and lot of fun. I did some great things like built a shed in my yard and put in some more grass. I'm pretty sure every time Kevin came to my house to stay I'd have a project waiting for him. Whoops.
