My Wedding Details

We were lucky enough to have our wedding reception at Loghaven Restaurant up Millcreek Canyon in Salt Lake. I really wanted to have our wedding in the mountains, and Loghaven was my ultimate location. It's such a charming venue!

My next decision I was most worried about was flowers. I wanted the flowers to be the focal point of the decorations. Sarah Winward of honey of a thousand flowers did an amazing job as usual and created the perfect flowers for the venue. I gave her a color scheme and then let her do her thing. They turned out amazing!

We've got some really cute friends.

I really do have a pretty amazing family

Loghaven treated us perfectly. They did such a great job at helping making the day perfect for us. They took charge allowinh us to sit back and enjoy.

I had an excessively long time to plan the wedding, and it made the wedding planning so easy and enjoyable. I really enjoyed planning all of the details and creating a day that fit both Kevin's and my personality so well.

There were little globes laid out all around the reception

I love how Sarah decorated the cake. It was simple, elegant, and natural.

The next extremely important aspect of the night was the food. I really wanted a wedding everyone wanted to stay and enjoy themselves at. I didn't want it to be a reception with a long line, where everyone said their congrats and went home. I wanted it to be a night they could enjoy, and food is essential to that.

It also helped that we were some how able to avoid a long formal line for the most part.

My dad was mostly worried about the cheese platter. It was super important that the food was not skimpy and had a cheese platter.

Kevin and I were able to eat before the reception started so that we would be able to sit and enjoy ourselves before it started to get crowded.

Unfortunately we only got to try a tiny piece of our delicious cake.

We have known each other for awhile now. I created a little time line of photos of us over the years. I had so many people say how much they loved it. I look pretty much the exact same over the years and Kevin changes a ton each year. His long hair also helped make him look a lot different.

I'm so happy how everything turned out. I really wouldn't change a thing from the day. It was so nice and enjoyable.
