Danco Island, Antarctica

We finally had a day full of sunshine! It was so nice and warm! We spent post of the day just hanging out on land, and hiking around. It was so nice. We loved being able to stretch our legs and spend a lot of time on land. I think the penguins were enjoying the sunshine as well!

This penguin walked right up to me taking a picture. I had a wide angle lens on and he was pretty much touching it with his beak.

Once he satisfied his curiosity he just laid down in front of me to chill out.

Everyone was so excited and happy to get a full day of sun. We were pretty lucky.

I liked this little penguin hanging out in such a big world. Think of all the places they have to explore.

I stared at this mountain for awhile imagining all of the different lines I could ski. Seriously, doesn't that look like some spectacular skiing!?

I'm really glad that of all the days, this day was our sunny one. It was warm enough to unzip our jackets a bit and hang out in the snow.

Every way you looked had amazing views.

Seriously, another magical day in Antarctica that I will never forget.
