Our next month was spent in Tucson, and I had no idea how much I'd like it. We were able to explore, hike, and get outside a lot while we were there. My expectations had probably been significantly lowered from living in Fort Worth, but I though Tucson was so pretty! Our housing arrangements weren't ideal, since we lived in a random ladies home with two twin beds, otherwise we loved our experience.
It's always enjoyable getting to be in different terrain that what you are used too, and Tucson offered us plenty of that. It also had Mt. Lemon which gave us a little touch of home with it's large Aspen's and cooler weather.
