Fun Fun Fun

ZION

I went to Zion, and again, it was great. This time we hiked Birch Hallow twice, then went through the Subway. The first time through Birch Hallow was with just me and Josh. We tied all natural anchors and learned how to do a bunch of new things. It was super fun because we did things, trying to make it harder than it had to be, just so we would learn how.

The second time through it we went with everyone. It was way fun! It was so funny having everyone doing the big repels.

Some of them are really cool. It looks like he's traveling into the deep Abyss.

The first repel is really big so I repelled down with Michelle because she had never done it. It was way funny. We did that for the first two and then she did the rest by herself. It makes it way funnier repelling off a ledge with two people.

Subway.

We played on the slides for awhile. It was super funny watching a lot of the boys get worked on them.

Jumping into one of the first pools. We decided it was more fun to jump into everything instead of trying to get around the pools. It was so hot that it actually felt nice to be in them. Well once you got out and was in the sun again.

Our group for the Subway. Way fun! We had 12 of us go. It was a great group and a great little getaway. Josh, Brandt, Aaron, Michelle, Ryan, Nate, Treq, Marnie, Kenny, Me, Ty, and Tyler.

YELLOWSTONE

I went to Yellowstone with my family. It's what we gave my dad for his father's day gift because he grew up going there a lot with his family. It was fun. We went in Jarred's and Jen's motor home.

UINTAH'S

I went to the Uintah's again. This time was just overnight. We went to Climb. We went up climbed for awhile, ate dinner, then went to bed. Then woke up and climbed some more. They were probably my favorite climbs that I have done so far. They are super cool. It was all sport routes. There were a few 5.9's, a ton of 5.10's, and then some 5.11's. So a perfect range for me right now.

Some guys up here told us not to blog about this spot. So, in honor of them, I'm blogging about it.

These are three of the kids that I climb with all the time. Craig, Greg, and Landon. It's been super great.

BACKYARD

One night when we were bored Josh came up with this idea to do some extreme backyard canyoneering. So, he had me climb a huge tree with no branches to put up a rope. It was really hard, and way tiring. Then a few day's later we strung the rope across the pool to another tree, and we would repel down into the pool. It was super fun.

We also set up a slack line that night. I'm definetly not good at it though.

I also went to the St. Anthony sand dunes just barely. They are up in Idaho. I went with Nate and Aaron and their family, Andy, Sean, Michelle, Brandt, Brig and his wife. I loved it. We had a good crew up with us. I would like to go back soon. We just dirt biked, four wheeled, and rode their awesome dune buggy.
