Ireland

Ireland is beautiful. We started out the trip in Dublin. I really enjoyed myself there. Usually big cities are fun but I don't love them. Dublin is great. Everyone is friendly, everyone is happy, and it has a really great feel to it. I definitely recommend it.

Next was County Wicklow. We went and saw Glendalough Lakes. Very pretty. We enjoyed a nice little walk. I love the trees in Ireland. I really am interested in colors and lighting in the different places I visit. Both are great in Ireland. The lighting is perfect, so the best colors are really brought out in everything. The trees have green moss all over and vines crawling up. Every tree was so interesting to me. Every time I saw a different type of tree I had to take a picture of it. Because of fall the reds and greens create a super pretty contrast.

The next few days were spent traveling from Killarny up to Galway. We took a train from Dublin to Killarny then rented a car to drive to Galway. We went through the Ring of Kerry. It is an area along the SouthWest Coast of Ireland that has beautiful lakes, trees, and mountains. It's mainly natural sights with a few castles along the way.

One of the nights we went to an awesome medieval banquet in a castle where we ate like Kings. It was way fun to do, and rather funny as well.

Next was Cliffs of Moher near Galway. I loved them. It is amazing to me how large they are. Most cliffs that are this large are getting larger over time because they are near mountains or on a plateau. I thought it was so interesting how these slope down to beaches on the other side. There are hard to explain, but they seem very different.

We've also hung out in Galway and went and looked some really great estates. These homes are amazing. What's even more amazing about them are there yards. One of the estates had a yard that would be the most magical place to grow up. You could make the best tree houses ever imaginable. I would love to be able to play in them. there are pathways leading all over through huge trees and forests. You could lay in the grass of the forest for days and be entertained. If you ever are in Ireland visit the estates.

My extended trip is not even close to being over. This is just my first weeks adventure. The next few weeks won't be as busy or interesting but I will keep updating anyways.
